This weekend was the start of many different winter series all over the uk, inside and out, 1/8th and 1/10th and Team RCPB was represented up and down the UK. In 1/10th and At the SWIS (Shropshire Winter Indoor Series) held by East Shrewsbury Buggy Racing Club Team RCPB made a double podium with Chris Ely and his serpent making 2nd and Matt Box and his Xray making 3rd in the 4wd drive class, both tq’ing one round each.  Some very close, competitive racing by the RCPB team bosses. This weekend saw the first round of the Swindon Model car club winter series, and the team were represented by Andy Prosser, Chris Lovell, Ben Billing and Simon Davies. There was a good turnout for the event which included 1/10th and 1/8th races, and a good battle between Darren Bloomfield and Kevin Brunsden at the top of the field in 8th. Ben Billing was the best qualifier for RCPB, ending up 3rd in the A and finishing 3rd behind the big guns with his new Sworkz Evo 2 and Nova Rossi combo. Great start with the new car, may there...

This weekend was the first of the winter series of Nitro X Cross and the RCPB team were out in force, Matt Box, Alex Page, Andy Prosser, Milan Dragojlovic, Steve Shakespeare, Chris Lovell, Gary Gregory and Simon Davies all representing the team. The venue for the first round was East Shrewsbury Buggy Racing Club (ESBRC) pictured above and their new facility, currently a grass track with a few wooden jumps, but with prospects of dirt and Astro tracks in the pipeline, this venue is one for the future. This weekend saw the last round of the ever popular Nitro X Cross series at the new venue of Coventry Model Car Club, and back to old School Grass Racing for the 1/8th Guys. The 10th Crew headed off to Broughton Raceway for the F3/4/5 Finals. Both events littered with TEAM RCPB drivers old and new.   Firstly the 1/10th guys, Saturday was 2wd day…. Sunday 13th September saw the last round of the Ledbury Summer Series. The Series held at the ever popular Ledbury Track was over 6 rounds, with 4 rounds to count – and it was for both 8th and 10th scale – and was a mixture of nitro and electric. Team RCPB was represented by Chris Lovell in both 1/8th and 1/10th classes running electric and by Alex Page, Andy Prosser, Simon White and Ben Billing in the 1/8th Series running nitro.
