Sunday 24th January saw the RCPB guys and gals at 2 venues, the Nitro guys were at Ledbury Model Car club for the latest round of their winter series and the 1/10th guys were at the SWIS in Shrewsbury. This weekend saw the return of Nitro X Cross, and the RCPB boys and girls braved the weather for a very wet and muddy round at ESBRC Grass/Dirt track situated just outside of Shrewsbury. The snowy/icy conditions made for an interesting but hard race-day with difficult conditions and lots of time needed for cleaning, but it never put the guys off with Simon Davies, Matt Box, Milan Dragojlovic, Andy Prosser, Ben Billing, Alex Page and Gary Gregory were in nitro class and Chris Lovell in the electric. This last weekend saw an abundance of racing for the RCPB Crew, with racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday! It all kicked off on Friday Evening with the first of the ESBRC indoor club nights in Shrewsbury. Team Boss Matt Box took his old XRAY 4wd along (pictured below) and ended up with a great TQ and win. Not bad considering his passion is 1/8th Nitro. On Saturday it was Chris Ely’s turn at Silverstone, along with Jamie and Tommy Hall. The Silverstone track looking as awesome as ever below! This weekend was the 3rd round of the Nitro X Cross Winter series at the Swindon Race Club. This Tricky but flowing Astro track is fast and fun and conditions on the day were pretty good for December. As usual the racing was flooded with RCPB Drivers. This weekend RCPB were once again out in force both inside for some 1/10th and outside for some 1/8th. Inside we had team bosses Chris Ely and Matt Box were at the 3rd round of the Shropshire winter Indoor series (SWIS) in Shrewsbury.  An interesting twisty multi surface track made for an interesting days racing. Also in attendance at the SWIS were Felix de Hamel running Schumacher 2wd, Tommy and Jamie Hall running the new XRAY 2wd XB2 and 4wd XB4 and Gary Gregory running micro.
