This weekend was Rd 5 and the last round of the 2015 Ralleycross Nationals, held at Slough. The team arrived safe and sound on Friday night and were full of enthusiasm for the weekend ahead. The Teams representatives at Slough were Team Boss Matt Box and fellow Radiosistemi RR8 driver Gary Gregory, Ben Billing and Alex Page both driving the Mugen MBX7r. The Bank Holiday weekend saw five of the RC Pitbox racing team venture to the Pembrey Race Circuit in South Wales for Rounds 13 and 14 of the Nitro X Summer Series (held by the Swansea and District Model Car club). The track is a newly constructed majority dirt track with astro jump profiles and straight, a flowing layout, with some good features, a track for the future and a credit to all the Swansea club, who were racing on a grass track at the same site last year. We have just received a race report from young RCPB 1/10 Driver Felix De Hamel. Felix has made some real improvements in 2014 and I am sure he will be one to watch in 2015! A cold and frosty Sunday morning (28/12/14) saw the third round of the Nitro X Winter Series being held at Swindon RC Model Car Club.   RCPitbox had representatives in both 1/8th classes – Matt Box in Nitro and Chris Lovell in Electric. With the track still covered in frost – and in some places ice – qualifying commenced. Chris secured TQ in the electric class with two from three wins in qualifying.
