A double podium for RCPB Team drivers Chris Lovell and Matt Box. Sunday 7th December saw the 3rd round of the BLRacing winter series at Ledbury Model Car Club. RCPitbox driver Chris Lovell, currently lying third in the series after 2 rounds, turned up knowing a good result would secure a top three placement until the next round in January. Last weekend saw round 3 (actually round 4 due to the postponement of round 2) of the BRCA Rally X Championships take place at KMRC Kent. This was our first visit to the recently re vamped track and have to say the KMRC guys have done a fantastic job on preparing for the National. The track looked awesome! Rounds 9 & 10 of the Nitro X Cross series took place last Saturday and Sunday at the Coventry track in the UK. With the National going there next month a number of national drivers turned out to get some track time. The track is a very fast track where consistency pays and one mistake costs a lot. Graham Alsop would TQ and win both days with his Ultimate prepped HB. Saturday saw Alex Page and Mick Butler make the A-main with Ultimate engines. Sunday saw 3 x Ultimate engines finish the A-Main in the top 8 with Elliot Taylor...

Well done to Dave Crompton TQ and the Win with the Radiosistemi RR8 and Reds R5 Racer package! Stu Mahon came in second with his RR8 whilst Matt Box took the long route by bumping from the C and B finals and coming in 9th overall with his RR8. The Radiosistemi RR8, REDS engines and JC Tyres are all available through RC Pit Box!

Elliott Boots today announced his 2014 engine package would be by none other than Italian factory ‘REDS Racing’. The news comes after a bit of a shock departure announcement from Novarossi which took many an industry insider by surprise, the move from one Italian engine company to another not a common one but no doubt a major coup for the Mario Rossi-led REDS outfit over fierce rivals Novarossi.
