With the typical UK winter weather taking its toll the RC Pit Box team had struggled to get racing in 2017 so last weekend we decided to brave the cold and head to Ledbury for round 4 of the popular AWS (Astro Winter Series). The final race of 2016 would see the RC Pit Box team travel to Swindon for round 4 of the Nitro X Cross Winter series. It was a chilly start with temperatures as low as -3 degrees C and we were greeted by a very frosty looking surface. RC Pit Box were represented by Milan Dragojlovic, Ben Billing, Matt Box, Nathan Powney, Chris Lovell and Elliott Jones and after 4 rounds of qualifying in a tough field of over 70 drivers Milan Dragojlovic would be the top qualifying RCPB driver taking his Maxima powered HB D815v2 to 2nd overall with...

So this last weekend was the beginning of the winter racing for most RCPB drivers. Some members of the team were at the first NitroXcross meeting of the winter series, held at Shrewsbury. Matt Box, Milan Dragojlovic, Steve Shakespeare, Rich Price, Elliot Jones, Si Davies, Gary Gregory and Ben Billing were all in attendance. After 4 rounds of qualifying it was Milan driving his HB car who took a brilliant TQ, Steve Shakespeare and his Kyosho car were 8th, Ben 17th running his Kyosho for the first time (pictured below), Rich was 22nd, Gary and Matt were 24th and 25th...

This last weekend was a busy one for the RCPB team with lots of racing going on. Over in Croatia we had Steve Shakespeare and his MP9 TKI4 representing the team and GB in the Over 40 Rallycross European championships. Milan Dragojlovic went to pit for him and Gary Gregory was GB Team manager! Steve was on fire, he TQ'd practice and after qualifying he managed to be very high up in the semi finals. After a fantastic start in the semis and a great race with some very fast drivers he went on to win and take pole in the main event....
