This weekend RCPB were once again out in force up and down the UK, in lots of events/scales and series. In the Short Course Nationals we had Jamie Hall who had a storming Day and took 2nd overall in both 2wd and 4wd. A stunning drive by the youngster in both classes, to take 2nd on the podium 2x. This weekend team RCPB were out in force across the country, it was George Miler who was representing the team down at Coastal Model car club with his Sworkz 2wd 1/10th, and he continued his great form by taking 2nd in the class in quail and finishing 3rd in the final. Valentine’s Day doesn’t stop the RCPB guys from Racing! Lots of racing, lots of places, lots of good results! At a sunny Deerdale we had Rick “Kong” McKenzie debuting his MBX7R powered by his new RC Concepts engine. And it was a very good start with the new ride. This weekend was a mixture of 1/10th and 1/8th racing for the Team, firstly it was the 2dn Round of the SWIS (Shropshire, Winter, Indoor Series) at the Grange School Shrewsbury, although not a permanent track, still a very technical track which saw 1/10th 2wd, 4wd and Micro heat. This weekend saw the Popular Nitro X Cross Winter series at the Ledbury Astro Track. Although there was persistent rain all week, Nathan Powney and the crew did a fantastic job of getting the track in a race-able condition and even entertained the campers with fireworks on the Saturday evening.
